Performance moving towards Marktstand 129-132, Viktor-Adler-Markt
Peering through a window into a dystopian scenario where all resources have already been consumed and devastated by humanity, where nature as a source of life is tired and furious about the plunder, amid mountains of waste and poisonous plants unfit for human consumption, we see how a group of humans, led by a toxic king who has taken over the last plant that produces oxygen, find themselves at a last supper, the last inventory, and the last harvest.
In a not too distant future, when Mother Earth decides not to produce any more,
a last generation of humans prepares to face the awakening of a dream where life as we know it is no longer possible. It is at a dinner that a group of characters from different social classes and origins are put to a test to mediate, negotiate, and reinvent their relationship with others and with life in general.
The Last Inventory is a performance that invites us to reflect on the relationship
with the food we consume and the food
we waste. It is a look at all the hands and ways that make it possible for us to have everything in abundance on this side of the world. This performance is also a wink of urgent hope to seek solutions that allow us to coexist with nature in healthier ways and pay back what it gives us.
